Study to Assess an Investigational Medication as a Possible Treatment for Patients Who are Hospitalized with COVID-19

About: This study is being conducted to assess an investigational medication as a possible treatment for patients who are hospitalized with COVID-19. This study is being performed in healthy adults to obtain additional safety data and to assess the levels of the medication in the blood over time after the injection.

  • Must be an adult at least 18 years of age or older
  • Is negative for COVID-19 with negative antigen and antibody tests and be free of any symptoms suggestive of a viral infection.
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all planned study procedures and be available for all study visits and follow-up as required by this protocol.

The study requires a time commitment of a little over 3 months (up to 105 days), including screening, an inpatient stay for 2 days and 1 night, 1 telephone visit, and 5 outpatient visits.

The total stipend for this study is up to $1,375.00 if all study visits are completed. Travel stipends are also available for patients who do not live in the greater San Diego area.
