ProSciento is now enrolling for a study being conducted in healthy volunteers to evaluate the effect of other medications on the investigational drug RGT001-075 (GLP-1 receptor agonist). The primary goal is to see how clarithromycin (antibiotic) (a strong CYP3A inhibitor) and carbamazepine (anticonvulsant) (a strong CYP3A inducer) change the way RGT001-075 is absorbed, processed, and eliminated by the body. A secondary goal is to compare the safety and tolerability of RGT001-075 when taken alone versus when taken with clarithromycin or carbamazepine.

The main goal of this study is to compare I005R U-500 to the FDA-approved insulin HUMULIN® R U-500 to assess how similarly they behave in the body. Both study medications are manufactured insulin formulations designed to mimic human insulin and are used to help manage blood sugar levels in people with diabetes.
