ProSciento is currently enrolling participants in a research study of experimental treatments (Exetin-A® and EPOGEN®), how they move through the body, how they affect the body, and whether they are safe and well tolerated. Only males may participate.

Screening and all study visits will be at our San Diego area research clinic. Transportation can be arranged by and paid for by ProSciento. You do not need to live in San Diego, CA to participate. We encourage those that reside in neighboring cities to also participate.

You May Qualify If You:

• Are 18 to 55 years old

• Have a BMI between 18.5 and 42

• Weigh between 60 kg and 100 kg (or approximately 133 – 220 lbs.)

About This Paid Research Study

ProSciento is looking for adults who are overweight or have a higher body weight to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational medication, TIX100. The purpose of the study is to assess the safety and tolerability of TIX100 when taken daily for 28 days and to learn how the body processes the medication. The study is for otherwise healthy adults who are overweight or obese. If you qualify and choose to participate, you may be asked to take the study medication or placebo twice daily for 28 days, attend study visits, complete health assessments, have blood samples collected, and be monitored throughout the study.

About This Paid Research Study

ProSciento is currently conducting a clinical research study evaluating an investigational biosimilar insulin aspart product (I004), developed by Amphastar Pharmaceuticals. The purpose of this study is to compare how I004 and the FDA‑approved insulin NovoLog® behave in the body.
 
Both study medications are rapid‑acting insulin formulations delivered by subcutaneous injection and are designed to help regulate blood sugar. This study involves a controlled 12‑hour euglycemic clamp procedure at each dosing visit to measure how the body responds to each insulin.
